A rare stainless steel ice bucket designed in 1971 by Anselmo Vitale and Carlo Mazzeri for Alessi. Made in Italy from 18/10 stainless steel, featuring an ingenious mechanical lid. Includes a removable plastic liner with drainage holes. The lid mechanism, together with a rubber sealing ring at the rim, allows the bucket to close very tightly. Comes with few scratches and signs of use, but nice condition.
Awarded the Macef Design Award in 1971. Stamped on the upper rear side.
