An incredibly beautiful onion-shaped Murano glass pendant, designed by Vistosi in 1960.
Handcrafted from beautiful Murano glass in soft milky tones of white and grey. When lit, the lamp resembles a sunset behind the clouds, creating a truly unique and atmospheric look.
The lamp is in very good vintage condition, with a raw-cut opening at the top, which is concealed by the raw steel fitting. The fitting shows some light signs of use. The lamp has been rewired with a new cord, while retaining the original steel wire.
As the glass is handmade, there are small traces of the glassmaking process, such as tiny bubbles and black specks, adding to its authentic character. Tiny tiny chip in the bottom, see picture, overall it is in beautiful condition.
